Police bid to trace 60 more potential victims of Britain s most prolific rapist

DETECTIVES who investigated Britain s most prolific serial rapist are trying to trace a further 60 men who they believe were victims. Reynhard Sinaga is serving a minimum of 40 years in jail after being convicted of 159 sexual offences against 48 men. 23 further victims were identified by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) after the force received 155 reports following a public appeal. But investigators are trying to trace another 60 men who they believe were victims of the Indonesian student, who drugged men and filmed himself violating them. Detective Chief Inspector Zed Ali said: Supporting those affected by Sinaga s despicable crimes has always been our priority, alongside securing the maximum possible jail term for him.

Today (Friday), Colin Cooley (aged 50) of no fixed abode was sentenced at Manchester Crown Square Crown Court to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of rape, five counts of penetrative sex acts with a child, five counts of indecent assault, five counts of gross indecency with a child and five counts of sexual assault. He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life, issued with a lifelong sexual harm prevention order and a restraining order for life against all three victims.
