AS Tallink Grupp Unaudited Consolidated Interim Report Q1 2021 April 29, 2021 02:30 ET | Source: Tallink Grupp Tallink Grupp Tallinn, ESTONIA In the first quarter (1 January – 31 March) of the 2021 financial year, Tallink Grupp AS and its subsidiaries (the Group) carried 267 224 passengers, which is 82.9% less than in the first quarter last year. The number of cargo units transported decreased by 14.5% in the same comparison. The Group’s unaudited consolidated revenue decreased by 65.3% or EUR 101.2 million to a total of EUR 53.7 million. Unaudited EBITDA was EUR -6.3 million (EUR -1.3 million in Q1 2020) and unaudited net loss was EUR 34.4 million (net loss of EUR 30.2 million in Q1 2020).

Tallink Grupp s passenger traffic in Q1â21 fell by 82.9%, cargo traffic - by 60.2%, YoY Tallink Grupp has today announced its 2021 first quarter passenger and cargo statistics to the stock exchange. According to the figures published, the group transported 267 224 passengers in the first quarter of the financial year 2021 (January-March), which is 82.9% less than in the same period last year. The number of passenger vehicles transported in the first quarter of 2021 has also decreased with 75 815 vehicles transported in Q1 2021, which is 60.2% less than in the same period in 2020. The number of cargo units also showed a decrease in the first quarter of this financial year compared to 2020 with a total of 85 156 units of cargo transported in the first three months of 2021, which is a 14.5% decrease compared to the same period last year.

AS Tallink Grupp Unaudited Consolidated Interim Report Q4 2020 Tallink Grupp AS and its subsidiaries (the Group) carried a total of 3 732 102 passengers, which is 62% passengers less compared to the 2019 financial year. The number of cargo units transported decreased by 5.2% compared to the previous financial year. The Group’s unaudited consolidated revenue amounted to EUR 442.9 million (EUR 949.1 million in 2019). Unaudited EBITDA was EUR 8.0 million (EUR 171.1 million, 2019) and unaudited net loss for the financial year was EUR 108.3 million or EUR 0.16 per share (net profit of EUR 49.7 million or EUR 0.07 per share, 2019).
