Anne Arundel County police are searching for a mental health patient who they said carjacked a person Wednesday at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
County police said officers were called around 2:06 p.m. to the hospital in Glen Burnie for a report of a mental health patient who left while in care and custody of the hospital.
While investigating the call, officers received a second call for a carjacking in the hospital s parking garage. Police said the suspect opened a car door, got in and told the victim to get him out of there.
Police said the victim was in fear and drove to the Horizons building on Hospital Drive, at which time, the suspect asked the victim to give him their pants so he could remove his hospital gown.
