Florida Police Department Makes College Graduation Memorable for Fallen Officer’s Daughter
A Florida police department has made college graduation day extra special for the daughter of a fallen officer by showing up in full force for the celebration.
Honor student Aleena Kondek graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida.

Pasco County Sheriffâs Deputy Christopher Schaeffer showed up to work at the county jail on Sept. 18 despite feeling under the weather.
Schaeffer, who worked as a bailiff for the agency since 2004, had recently returned from a two-week-long vacation. His entire family fell ill, and he had taken a COVID-19 test the day before returning to work.

Mike McCoy said he and his friend walk their dogs together every day in Holiday. During their walk Tuesday morning, he said, a gator grabbed his 8-month-old dog Jake.
