Man arrested in connection with early morning homicide in Elizabeth City

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Officials in Pasquotank County have arrested a suspect wanted for the early morning homicide of a man Monday.
Around 2:31 a.m., Pasquotank County Central Communications received a call for a gunshot victim in the 300 block of Travis Drive in Elizabeth City.
When deputies from the Pasquotank County Sheriff s Office arrived on scene, they found the victim, identified as Oshea Tyquan Lee, unresponsive after he had been shot.
Authorities immediately performed CPR on Lee, who was then taken to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office was notified on Sunday, Dec. 20 around 1:38 p.m. to check on residents who lived in the 300 block of Betty Drive. The initial call was made to Pasquotank County Central Communications.
