Jacob Stallings walk-off homer helps Pirates rally past Giants

Jacob Stallings hit a walk-off two-run homer in the ninth inning Saturday after the Pittsburgh Pirates erased two four-run deficits in an 8-6 win over the visiting San Francisco Giants.
Tied at 6-6 and with Bryan Reynolds at third, Stallings hit his third homer, to left, off Jake McGee (1-1).
Stallings earlier hit a two-run double. Kevin Newman and Ka ai Tom each added an RBI single.
Pittsburgh starter Tyler Anderson allowed six hits and a season-high four runs in five innings, with two walks and seven strikeouts.
Mitch Keller, Pirates push past Padres

Mitch Keller, who entered the game with a 8.20 ERA, pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings Tuesday night, leading the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates to a 2-1 win over the San Diego Padres.
Bryan Reynolds drove in the Pirates first run with a third-inning double, and Erik Gonzalez raced home from second on a grounder in the sixth for what turned out to be the decisive run.
The Padres, who were no-hit for six innings Monday night before rallying for a 2-0 victory, have scored three runs on just seven hits in the first two games of the three-game series.
Reports: Steelers declining option of S Terrell Edmunds

The Pittsburgh Steelers will decline the fifth-year option for safety Terrell Edmunds, according to multiple reports Monday.
He would have earned about $6.75 million in 2022, per Over the Cap. Instead, he will become a free agent.
Edmunds, 24, was the No. 28 overall pick by the Steelers in the 2018 NFL Draft. In 47 games (43 starts) in Pittsburgh, he has tallied 251 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions and a fumble recovery.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills are picking up the option on linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, Terrell s younger brother.
Tremaine Edmunds, who turned 23 on Sunday, was the 16th overall pick in 2018. The two-time Pro Bowl selection has 355 tackles, 5.5 sacks and three interceptions in 46 games (all starts) and is due to earn $12.7 million in 2022.
Connor McDavid leads Oilers past Flames

Connor McDavid collected a goal and two assists and Leon Draisaitl added four assists to lead the host Edmonton Oilers to a 4-1 victory over the Calgary Flames on Saturday and deliver a blow to their rivals playoff hopes.
Ethan Bear, Josh Archibald and Darnell Nurse also scored for the Oilers (30-17-2, 62 points). Goaltender Mike Smith made 29 saves for the team on the verge of clinching a playoff berth.
With seven games remaining in the regular season, the Oilers are nine points behind the North Division-leading Toronto Maple Leafs with two games in hand. Edmonton is also five points ahead of the third-place Winnipeg Jets.
