The asking prices for the two copies of “War Rages On” currently on eBay are $688.40 and $749.
Moore, who lives in Warren, may be the local record holder on Discogs. His 1976 funk / soul album “Maurice” sold for more than $2,000 on Discogs last May. It came in at No. 13 on Discogs’ list of most valuable albums sold that month, where “Maurice” was mixed among rarities by Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie and the Grateful Dead.
“We’re guilty of finding reasons to leave the studio,” he told
NME. “When we’ve made records in Los Angeles, it’s like, who’s playing tonight? Which one of our friends is playing a gig that we can jump to? ”
“I think sometimes in the difficult moments of making records, we’ve had opportunities to get out and duck it. Whereas with this if you’re having a challenging day, where you feel like this song isn’t going anywhere or whatever the issue might be, you really have to face it and face it head on – which we haven’t historically done too much of.”

“The main reason I started Underdog Records was to create a platform for the artists who deserve recognition, but were unable to in such a saturated market. There are SO many talented artists that haven’t yet gotten their shine.
