Pune: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has decided to treat passengers from the UK who test positive for Covid at the new PCMC-run hospital in Bhosari.
The step is a part of the precautionary moves undertaken in the light of the more transmissible virus type. Maharashtra government has also imposed stringent rules for travellers coming in from UK and issued a new set of standard operating protocols to all municipalities and local bodies in the state.
