PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) The Pueblo County Sherriff s Office announced Sunday the loss of one of their own.
Patrol Deputy Jerry Bastian died Saturday, according to the Sheriff s office.
Multiple law enforcement agencies in Southern Colorado shared their sympathies on social media Sunday. It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of one of our brothers in blue, Patrol Deputy Jerry Bastian, the Pueblo County Sheriff s Office wrote in a Facebook post. Deputy Bastian passed away unexpectedly Saturday. We express our deepest sympathy to Deputy Bastian’s family, friends, and all those who worked with him at the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies. Rest in peace Deputy Bastian.

A victim reported that his 1985 Jayco trailer was broken into in the 2600 block of Lake Avenue about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Several high-value items were stolen, including a bag with miscellaneous knives the victim valued at $2,000, another bag with knives valued at $900 and two chainsaws valued at $1,130.
Police are investigating.
Flat-screen television stolen from home
Police responded to a reported burglary in the 700 block of West 17th Street about 12:50 p.m. Monday.
An unidentified suspect entered the residence through a side window and stole numerous items, including a flat-screen television.
Police are investigating.
More building materials burgled
Several items were reported stolen from a home in the 5600 block of Terracina Place at 8:45 a.m. Monday.
Pueblo Police responded to a shooting at a residence in the 600 block of Colorado Avenue at approximately 10 p.m. Monday night.
John Anderson, 83, allegedly shot a female in the upper shoulder area during an argument, according to a press release from the Pueblo Police Department. The victim, who was reportedly living with Anderson, was hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police arrested Anderson and charged him with first-degree assault. They are investigating.
Prescription opioids stolen from car
A man reported to the Pueblo County Sherriff s Office on Tuesday that several items, including his prescription of oxycodone from a recent surgery, were stolen from his car sometime between Feb. 18 and Feb. 23.
A manager for a Pueblo gas station in the 800 block of North Eerie Avenue reported Monday that someone attempted to light one of fuel pumps on fire over the weekend.
One of the publicly accessed pumps had paper stuffed in the slot where the nozzle rests that showed evidence it was attempted to be lit.
Police are investigating.
Laptop taken from car
A 2008 Ford Edge was broken into in at a parking lot in the 3300 block of Dillon Drive at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
A laptop the victim self-valued at $600, $40 cash and other items valued at approximately $240 were stolen.
