Pueblo police searching for bank robbery suspect

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) Pueblo police are searching for a man involved in a bank robbery.
At 2:51 p.m. on Monday, officers were dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank on 3000 Hart Road on a bank robbery.
The suspect is described as a man, 5 8 , stocky build, dark skin, and dark curly long hair, although that possibly was a wig.
He was wearing red sweatpants, a yellow safety vest, orange gloves, a facemask, and a beanie.

The Pueblo Police Department is investigating a highway death from Monday s early hours as a homicide.
About 4:38 a.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to the U.S. Highway 50 bypass westbound from Bonforte Boulevard for a reported traffic crash involving a motorcyclist. At about the same time, police received a call for shots fired near the intersection of the bypass and Hudson Avenue.
According to police, once on scene officers determined there had not been a crash, but the motorcycle driver had suffered a gunshot wound which appeared to have caused his death, although medical attention was provided immediately. This shut the highway down for several hours as it was investigated, reopening at about 9 a.m.
A Pueblo homicide suspect was apprehended by the Arapahoe County Sheriff s Office late Monday night.
Kevin Woodard, 28, is now in police custody after he was sought on an active arrest warrant on suspicion of first-degree murder, a Class 1 felony, in connection with a Sunday shooting in Pueblo.
Pueblo Police officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Berkley Avenue at 2:47 a.m. Sunday for reported a shooting report early Sunday morning, and discovered a male gunshot victim in front of a residential home. Despite medical attention performed on-scene, the victim died at the residence from an apparent gunshot wound to his chest.

It happened Sunday at around 2:47 a.m. in the 1000 block of Berkley Ave.
When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound in front of the home. Despite medical attention, that person died on scene.
The victim s identity is expected to be released by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office, pending notification of next-of-kin.
