The Home Depot ‘Retool Your School’ campaign benefits Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) is in full swing. In 2021, they are investing $1 Million in 2021. “This year, 30 HBCUs will win their share of $1,000,000.”
As a proud graduate of an HBCU, I look at Stillman College as my HBCU away from home. So many Stillman attributes remind me of my Dear Ole’ Bethune-Cookman. Kudos to The Home Depot because they said they are “dedicated to continuing our commitment, celebrating the legacy and pride of HBCUs.”

If you didn’t know, The Home Depot has a history of giving towards HBCUs. “Since 2009, The Home Depot has invested more than $3.1 million dollars to update, upgrade, and uplift HBCU campuses.” You know this warms my soul.
