U.S. Ambassador to Barbados Linda Taglialatela met with Governor General Dame Sandra Mason to convey the best wishes of the American people on the 245th anniversary of their independence and to celebrate the close ties between the United States of America and Barbados.

Experts Discuss Migration Issues 2175
On February 4, a working meeting via videoconferencing took place in the capital with experts of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Office in Turkmenistan.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Migration Service, the State Statistics Committee, and the Institute of State, Law and Democracy were among those participating in the meeting from the Turkmen side.
Detailed discussions revolved around the implementation progress of joint programs for 2021. Having pointed out the importance of the 2020-2022 National Action Plan of Turkmenistan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings approved by the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in December 2019, the meeting participants spoke for strengthening the productive ties.
