Brunswick County opens vaccine appointments

According a county press release, more vaccines were received through the state, allowing Novant Health, Brunswick County Health Services and Dosher Memorial Hospital to schedule more first-dose appointments for this week. Vaccines will be administered at Brunswick Community College Williamson Auditorium in the parking lot. Currently, health care workers, people 65 or older and Starting Thursday, people in Group 4 become eligible for the vaccine as well. The group includes residents of close group living settings, essential workers, and people ages 16-64 with at least one high-risk medical conditions. Have tips or ideas? Vaccines are now open to groups 1-3, with three approved vaccines being offered at various health departments, pharmacies, health groups and vaccination clinics. As April 7 approaches, when vaccines open to any North Carolinian that wants one, where to get a vaccine is still top-of-mind for many. Below are a list of places that are administering or are on a list to receive doses. County health departments, hospitals, health groups, vaccination events and clinics, and pharmacies in southeastern N.C. are giving the shots.
