Bodies buried in basement of Columbus home identified
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Autopsies show the bodies of a man and a woman found buried beneath concrete in the basement of a Columbus home were shot to death, according to a county coroner in Ohio’s capital city.
The Franklin County Coroner’s Office on Monday released autopsies identifying the victims as 48-year-old Tera Pennington and 52-year-old Henry Watson, both of Columbus. DNA was used to identify them.
Their bodies were found in January by law enforcement officials. Watson and Pennington were reported missing on the same day in August 2018.
Autopsies show Pennington was shot once in the neck and Watson twice in the head. Their bodies were dismembered before being buried beneath concrete.
