Show Transcript CHERISE: THE CHIEF TELLS US ON PERSON WAS SHOT IN WHAT HE’S CALLING A MULTI-SCENE EXCHAN OF GUNFIRE. THE SHOOTER IS STILL AT LARGE TONIGHT. PINE AND PROSPECT STREETS HERE BEHIND ME, WHERE OFFICERS WERE FOCUSING THEIR EFFORTS. THIS ALL HAPPENED EARLIER IN THE DAY. THE SEARCH FOR THE SHOOTER, BELIEVED TO BE MALE AT THIS TIME, BRINGING IN OFFICERS FROM NEARBY TOWNS AS WELL AS STATE POLICE AND THE MAJOR CRIME UNIT. THE VICTIM WAS TAKEN TO CONCORD HOSPITAL TO BE TREATED FOR GUNSHOT WOUNDS. THE CHIEF SAYS HE IS EXPECTED TO BE OK. THEY’RE NOW ACTING ON SEARCH WARRANTS AND INTERVIEWING WITNESSES AND RESIDENT WE DID SEE A CAR TOWED FROM THIS SCEN THE CHIEF SAYS THAT IS PART OF THEIR ONGOING INVESTIGATION.
