Robert Stanley, 36, and his partner Danielle Schofield, 34, also fantasised about kidnapping and gagging a child. In August 2019 Stanley and Schofield had a video call in which Schofield sexually abused an eight-year-old girl. Stanley took screenshots of the abuse for his gratification after he encouraged and incited Schofield. The National Crime Agency began an investigation in April 2020 after intelligence indicated that Stanley had accessed three Category A child abuse videos. Officers arrested unemployed Stanley, of Feenan Highway, Tilbury, at Schofield’s home in Centenary Square, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire on April 23 last year. Forensic examination of Stanley’s mobile phone showed he had sent Schofield a Category B indecent image of a child on May 6, 2019.

Sakeb Nazir A drug dealer who tried to bribe a police officer after he was caught with £1,400 of crack cocaine and heroin in street deals has been jailed for four years and four months. Sakeb Nazir was today sentenced for a string of drugs and driving offences committed between August, 2019, and last October while in breach of a suspended sentence order. Prosecutor Clare Walsh said he told an arresting officer “I’ll give you £1,000” when he was being transported to the police station, then put up his fingers indicating greater sums.

A police officer accused of the rape and sexual assault of a woman has denied the charges at a court hearing.
Sgt Ben Lister, 35, of West Yorkshire Police, is alleged to have committed the offences in Bradford on 29 August 2016.
A judge at Bradford Crown Court granted him unconditional bail and set a trial date for 24 January 2022.
West Yorkshire Police said Sgt Lister, who was based in Bradford, had been suspended from the force.

Bradford Crown Court A boy aged 15 has been sent to detention for more than eight years for a string of rapes and sexual abuse offences against five younger children. Judge Jonathan Rose told the teenager, who can’t be identified because of his age, that an adult in his shoes would be going to prison for 20 years. The child was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court today after he was convicted by a jury of 15 serious sexual offences, including 12 counts of rape. The offences took place several years ago and all but one of his rape victims was under 13, prosecutor Peter Hampton said. He was also found guilty of sexual assault and two charges of sexual activity in the presence of a child.
