A FURTHER two Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported today in Bradford. According to the latest NHS figures, two further deaths were recorded by either Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, both on March 15, while none were reported by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district, according to the latest NHS figures, stands at 847 - 589 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 256 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. Nationally, a further 77 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 85,488.
From today, people will be able have their vaccination at Bradford College Old Building. Phil Hubbard, director of nursing, professions and care standards for Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, which is leading the centre, said: “The new site means that we can further increase capacity as needed, to vaccinate more people over the coming weeks. I’d like to thank Bradford College for all their commitment and support in getting the vaccination centre up and running as part of the district-wide efforts, and all those who are working on-site. It’s been a tremendous team effort across a number of organisations including the college, volunteers, the fire service and the army, working alongside the NHS.”
