THERE have been another four coronavirus-related deaths reported by hospitals in the Bradford district today, according to the latest figures from NHS England. Three of the deaths were reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with one of those deaths reported to have happened on New Year s Day and two of them reported to have happened yesterday. One death was reported by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and was reported to have taken place on 1 January. It means the total number of COVID-19-related hospital deaths in the Bradford district, according to NHS England, now stands at 650 - 462 of those have been reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 186 by Airedale and two by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

According to the latest NHS figures, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust reported all five deaths. One patients died at Bradford on Sunday, December 27, one on Friday, December 25 and three on Sunday, December 20. It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district, according to today’s NHS figures, now still stands at 634 - 449 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 183 at Airedale and two at the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust reported two deaths and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust reported three deaths. Nationally, the deaths of 318 people were announced, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 48,860. There were 35 deaths in the North East and Yorkshire.
