Officers with the Morgan County Sheriffâs Office, Madison Police Department, Georgia Department of Corrections K9 unit and Georgia Department of Supervision descended on a Penor Street residence at noon on Thursday, July 8 after receiving information that a man inside the residence was in possession of methamphetamine.
Antwain Deon âA1â Williams, 27, of Madison, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related items after law enforcement officers used a Fourth Amendment search warrant to enter Williamsâ residence on Penor Street.
According to Lt. Brandon Sellers, Investigations Division, Morgan County Sheriffâs Office, law enforcement officers allegedly located a half ounce of suspected methamphetamine in a bedroom in the residence. The suspected methamphetamine was packaged in a plastic bag, Sellers said.
