COVID-19 Outbreak at Brantford General Hospital

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Brantford General Hospital in the B7 Medical Inpatient Unit. The outbreak was declared on April 21, after two patients and one BCHS health care worker tested positive for COVID-19. There are no new patients being admitted to the B7 Unit, and visitors are not permitted at this time, unless for compassionate reasons. “The protection of our patients, staff and physicians remains our top priority at BCHS, and we are working diligently to bring a safe and timely end to this outbreak,” said a press release from the hospital.
