Frame guidelines for online classes after pandemic situation eases: forum

‘There are apprehensions in the minds of people that the worst is yet to come’ The Aided College Teachers Association (ACTA) has said that it would be in the best interest of students if the State Government desists from formulating guidelines for online classes for 2021-22 academic year, at this point of time, citing the pandemic situation across the country. In the wake of the Director of Collegiate Education inviting views of principals, teachers, representatives of Parent-Teacher Associations, student representatives and office-bearers of teachers associations, the ACTA has made a representation to the State government stating that there were apprehensions in the minds of people that the worst was yet to come.

Telangana declares summer holidays for schools from April 27 to May 31 as Covid-19 cases surge On Sunday, Telangana recorded 8,126 new Covid-19 cases, the highest ever single day spike in the number of infections.  Share Via Email   |  A+A A- By Express News Service HYDERABAD: Keeping in view the rapidly rising number of Covid-19 cases in the state, the Telangana government has declared summer vacations for all schools and junior colleges in the state from April 27 till May 31.  An official communication informing about the same was relayed on Sunday to all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Education Officers by the Director of School Education, Syed Omar Jaleel and directing them to take necessary action.
