ADDURU, Tuguegarao City – The skeletal remains of a former New People’s Army (NPA) rebel was exhumed in Barangay Masisit, Allacapan, this province, last Saturday. The Allacapan police said two NPA surrenderers pointed to the remains of “Arman,” a member of the Platoon Ernesto, West Committee, Komiteng Rehiyon-Cagayan Valley, who was killed when they ambushed Philippine National Police-Special Actions Force troopers in Barangay Cataratan, Allacapan in 2010. Arman’s remains were buried in the mountainous part of Barangay Masisit. The PNP Allacapan, Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Cagayan Police Provincial Office, 203rd Regional Mobile Force Battalion 2, and 3rd Platoon of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of Cagayan, accompanied by the two former NPA, retrieved Arman’s skeletal remains which were taken to Cagayan Provincial Crime Laboratory Field Office in Lal-lo, this province.
