DeFoe offers Douglas preview for All-American

Some of the best weekend anglers from across the nation will come together Thursday through Saturday for the 38th annual BFL All-American on Douglas Lake in Dandridge, Tenn. The 2021 edition will feature a field of the top 49 boaters and 49 co-anglers from across the 24-division Bass Fishing League and The Bass Federation, all competing for a grand prize of up to $120,000 in the boater division, including a $20,000 Phoenix MLF BIG5 Bonus contingency award, and $50,000 in the co-angler division.
Additionally, the highest-finishing boater and co-angler from each of seven Regional Championships (including the Wild Card) and the TBF National Championship at the All-American will advance to the 2021 Toyota Series Championship for a shot at winning $235,000 and $33,500, respectively.

Queens will play East Stroudsburg in the semifinals this weekend.
Queens, Roberts Wesleyan, Lindenwood and East Stroudsburg each claimed a spot in the NCAA Division II women’s national semifinals in Salem, Va., with regional championship wins on Sunday. The NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Committee reseeded the four teams and announced Friday’s semifinal matchups:
No. 1 Queens (13-1) vs. No. 4 East Stroudsburg (12-3), 4 p.m.
No. 2 Lindenwood (15-1) vs. No. 3 Roberts Wesleyan (14-1), 7 p.m.
Regardless of who wins the title, Division II will be crowning a first-time champion in 2021. But before looking ahead to championship weekend, let’s take a closer look at the results from Friday’s and Sunday’s first- and second-round games.
Crappie USA Sees Great Tournament on Lake Decatur
Crappie anglers from several states traveled to Decatur, IL where they were hosted by the Decatur Area Convention & Visitors Bureau of Illinois. Anglers were competing on Lake Decatur. The May 8, 2021, Region 3 event was presented by Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s.
In addition to the event, anglers are competing in the $50,000 points race, an opportunity to compete at the Regional Championships, and the 2021 Crappie USA Classic on Lake Hartwell, Anderson, SC.
The weather was very pleasant most of the day. It started cool at about 40 degrees and warmed up to around 60 degrees. Most of the day was sunny with the wind picking up as the day went on. It started raining as the weigh-in was ending. A total of 35 boats fished the event,11 in the Pro Division and 24 in the Amateur Division. A total of $11,400 was distributed to the winners.
