HAMDEN, CT - (From North Haven Funeral Home) Anne C. McKeon of North Haven passed away peacefully on March 2, 2021 at the age of 79.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas P. McKeon to whom she was married for 59 years. She was also predeceased by her younger brother Anthony (Cal) Colavolpe.
Anne was born in Hamden, Connecticut on May 16, 1941, the daughter of Anthony and Anna Proto Colavolpe. She was the loving mother of Thomas (Antoinette) McKeon, Christopher (Jacqueline) McKeon and Kerry Banks (David).

Anne was a graduate of Hamden High School Class of 1959. In earlier years, she was active with the North Haven Schools P.T.A. She was a parishioner at St. Francis Cabrini Church and a member of The North Haven Garden Club and The Mayflower Society.

It was Sunday morning. My cellphone rang. It was Mary Lou Montini. “Bernie, before you call me, I want you to know that Archie took a turn for the worse last night. He didn’t make it!” Archie, like his sister Teresa about two weeks ago, lost his battle with COVID-19.
Patty, my wife, and I were fortunate enough to be the beneficiaries of Archie Montini’s friendship. It can be reduced to “unconditional.”
Let me share with you some of the vivid examples of Archie’s unconditional friendship toward us. He helped us move both of my daughters to their respective colleges at Wellesley and the University of Pennsylvania more than once. He accompanied me to attend my daughter’s concert at Wellesley. He spontaneously appeared with a ladder at our house to removed garbage from the roof deposited by some delinquents. Our residence, then, was evidence of his landscapin
