Mar 1, 2021 Joann Sellitti, 84, of Weirton, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Her family was at her side. Joann was born in Alma, WV, on May 25, 1936. When she was a young girl, her family moved to Weirton, WV. Joann graduated from Weir High School in 1954 and married her high school sweetheart Tony P. Sellitti on December 10, 1954. A feisty girl from Middlebourne, WV, and a young talented, hardworking bricklayer, with an entrepreneurial spirit, Tony and Joann, over the years, built and designed over 600 homes in the Weirton and surrounding areas. In addition to homes, their company built numerous apartment complexes and numerous government facilities, and commercial buildings throughout the Ohio Valley.
