Bridgestone taps Marko Ibrahim as retail operations president

He succeeds Joe Venezia, who s been in the role since 2017, according to a press release. Ibrahim will focus on boosting profitability, customer count and efficiency. Bridgestone s retail operations (BSRO) is a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas. The BRO division has more than 2,200 locations under the Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, Hibdon Tires Plus and Wheel Works brands. Ibrahim joined Bridgestone in February 2018 as vice president of stores and was promoted to senior vice president of stores in 2020. Since joining Bridgestone in 2018, Marko has made a great impact on our BSRO stores and operations especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Gabriel Asbun, group president, Bridgestone Americas tire business, said in the release. Bridgestone subsidiary names president

Bridgestone Americas subsidiary Bridgestone Retail Operations announced Friday that Marko Ibrahim has been named president. Based in Nashville, Ibrahim replaces Joe Venezia, who led the tire giant s retail group since 2017 before leaving to serve as executive vice president and COO of The Michaels Companies. With a network of more than 2,200 locations, BSRO operates what it bills as the world’s largest company-owned network of tire and automotive service centers nationwide under the Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, Hibdon Tires Plus and Wheel Works brands. Ibrahim joined the company in February 2018 as VP of stores and was promoted to senior VP in 2020. As president, he will lead BSRO’s 23,000 nationwide employees serving serve more than 20 million customers annually.
