High-density housing with affordable units proposed for Park City
The project, which will go before the county planning commission on Feb. 23, has its share of critics.

A proposal for high-density housing could bring affordable rental units to Park City. Many people living near the project site are against it.
Developers want to build 410 new homes for rent, including 144 affordable dwellings, on a 41-acre parcel off of Interstate 80 in the Highland Estates neighborhood in Park City.
The Highland Flats project proposal comes as housing prices are skyrocketing and blue-collar workers and those in a host of service and hospitality jobs are increasingly unable to afford to live in the resort town.

MILLCREEK, UT (KSL) A mountain lion broke into a home through a sliding glass door in the foothills of Millcreek Canyon on Saturday. The man who discovered the animal walked away uninjured.
The incident happened about 11 a.m. Saturday when a man went to check on his family member’s house and discovered the home was a little cold, said Scott Root, outreach manager for the Division of Wildlife Resources. When the man went downstairs he saw a large hole in the sliding glass door and noticed several potted plants scattered around, with some plants appearing to have bites taken out of them.

These questions were posed to fly fishermen on an online forum group with answers coming anonymously. There were not many responses. The few who did respond could not answer the question of whether fly-fishing was a way of life, but they were more forthcoming with answers about the passion behind it.
