City Attorney: charges brought in 8 out of 261 protest related arrests in Seattle UP NEXT
SEATTLE - Members and staff of Seattle’s Community Police Commission are questioning if Seattle Police and the City Attorney’s Office need to work better together in handling protest related cases.
The topic came up during a recent meeting involving the disparity between the hundreds of arrests that have been made by SPD since the George Floyd demonstration began on May 29 resulting in very few charges by the City Attorney.
