L-R had 168 Student-Athletes Receive Academic Award L-R had 168 Student-Athletes Receive Academic Award August 3, 2021 A year ago, Lenoir-Rhyne earned a school-record 140 recipients of the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award. This year, the Bears shattered that record with 168 being named to the prestigious list. The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level. This is the 14th year of the award. In order for a student-athlete to receive an Academic Achievement Award, the athletics director of the Division II institution must be a current dues-paying member of the D2 ADA.
