Date Time Police update: Police motorcyclist rammed, Rochedale Detectives from Upper Mt Gravatt CIB have today charged a man after a road policing officer was allegedly knocked off his motorbike when he attempted to assist a motorist on the Gateway Motorway on May 9. It will be alleged at around 1am the officer was conducting speed checks at Rochedale when a silver Holden Commodore stopped a short distance away, appearing to have engine problems. The officer conducted a u-turn and attempted to stop in front of the Commodore when the vehicle was allegedly driven at the officer, clipping the bike and throwing him off. The car then reversed and rammed the police motorcycle before speeding off.
