Ghaziabad: The health department on Monday revoked the licence of a nursing home in Loni area for allegedly carrying out sex determination tests. Officials said that Krishna Nursing Home in Behta had been conducting the tests using an unregistered ultrasound machine. The owner of the facility and another person have been arrested in the case. Three foetuses, all of which are about three month old, were found in the building. They have been sent for post-mortem, officials said. The crime came to light after a Faridabad health department team reached Ghaziabad and a woman visited the nursing home on Sunday posing as a customer and reported the incident. The nursing home officials allegedly took Rs 15,000 from the woman for a sex determination test.
