Every Golden Globes Best Drama Winner Since 1952 By Joseph Bien-Kahn, Stacker News On 3/1/21 at 8:00 PM EST This year s Golden Globes were unlike any other in its storied history, which began in 1944 when the Hollywood Foreign Press Association gathered at the studios of Twentieth Century-Fox to celebrate the filmmaking achievements of 1943. Seventy-plus years later, the Golden Globes Awards show is the first to kick off the awards calendar, and after being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 78th Golden Globe Awards aired remotely, with hosts Amy Poehler emceeing from L.A. and Tina Fey from New York City. Winners tuned in from their own homes, some in the traditional ball gowns and tuxes, others in their pajamas.

Researchers, creatives, and art therapists from across Pennsylvania discuss the role that art can play in building and healing communities, and in achieving mental health and wellness. The Pennsylvania Arts Council offers resources to support members of the arts community as they work to stay safe amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Mental health experts and advocates discuss how trauma affects people; the ways racial, gender, economic, and other inequalities factor into and compound the issue of trauma; and mental health supports and services that exist. Photo © MoMA, NY The first public exhibition the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York ever held, in November 1929, focused on just four artists: Cézanne, Gauguin, Seurat, Van Gogh. The museum returns to those artistic roots this spring with the show Cézanne Drawing (6 June-25 September), the first in the US to bring together the artist’s varied works on paper, from the sketchbooks he kept throughout his career to the large-scale, richly layered watercolours he made.
