.- Gallery Wendi Norris announced their publication of Alice Rahon, the first monograph on the French-Mexican painter-poet. This 128-page book is illustrated with highlights of her artwork from 1939 through the 1970s, forming a tangible, albeit limited, representation of her oeuvre.
Alice Rahon includes an introduction by Wendi Norris as well as new research explored in three ground-breaking essays. The worlds foremost expert on Rahons life and work, Tere Arcq, proffers ten, formative touchstones to greater understand Rahons creative output in Alice Rahon: Tracing the Marvelous. upcoming 2021 exhibition lineup will feature Pennsylvania landscapes, women artists, a variety of periods and places around the word, and more.
The museum
reopened on Wednesday, February 10, and features a new timed-entry ticket reservation system due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays.
From Wednesday, February 10, to Sunday, June 6, the Palmer Museum will feature “Field Language: The Painting and Poetry of Warren and Jane Rohrer.” This exhibit displays the art of a married couple, Warren and Jane Rohrer, who share a background with Mennonite farm families.

Quil Lemons, 23, made history this month becoming the youngest photographer to shoot Vanity Fair s lead image.
Yes, he s the man behind the lens of the magazine s March issue, which hit stands last week. The cover girl is Billie Eilish.
He says he looked at all of Eilish s previous covers so that he could make his art for the issue stand out.
It s something he says he learned while a student at Charter High School for Architecture and Design in Center City Philadelphia.

.-Victoria Miro announced the representation of Ali Banisadr. The Brooklyn-based artist, acclaimed for his urgent, ravishing paintings that deftly combine elements of figuration and abstraction within a signature language, will present new work as part of the gallerys forthcoming online group exhibition themed around the colour blue (from 24 February).
