We get it, as Valentine’s Day approaches, you’re desperate to get away for a bit. A short but safe vacation might be the perfect way to celebrate the day of love with your significant other.
Here’s a way you can treat yourself: home rentals. What’s better than having the whole place to yourself without the worry other people nearby, like at a hotel or resort.

“The Question the Answer Hides: Casey Ruble and Wendel White,” the exhibition that opens on September 25 at the Stockton University Art Gallery, demonstrates the latter.
The show features more than 70 pieces by New Jersey artists Casey Ruble and Wendel White, most from the two artists’ respective “Red Summer” projects, referencing the 1919 race riots and attacks on Blacks who migrated from the south for work after World War I.

Laura Domencic, an arts consultant and curator from Pittsburgh, was announced Friday as the Erie Art Museum s new executive director.
Her appointment was unanimously approved by the museum’s Board of Directors, and she will assume her duties Feb. 8, museum officials said in a statement.
Domencic most recently worked as an arts consultant, arts curator and fundraiser. For the past three years, she has also led an artist residency program in Ambialet, France. Erie is a great community, Domencic said via email. There s a lot of opportunity here, with the community on an exciting trajectory, and I look forward to the possibilities for the museum.
