Leviticus 14:2 – The Law of the Leper is one of the most exciting Messianic Prophecies!
Although the priesthood had all these detailed instructions as to how they were to respond in the case of a healed leper, they never had the opportunity to put these instructions into effect, because from the time the Mosaic Law was given, no Jew was ever healed of leprosy. As a result, it was taught by the rabbis that only the Messiah would be able to heal a Jewish leper….
The three Gospel accounts that tell us about the healing of a leper are: Matthew 8:2-4, Mark 1:40-45 and Luke 5:12-16. Matthew and Mark merely state that the man was a leper, but Luke, who by profession was a medical doctor, gave more details.
Proverbs 4:20-27
Genesis 48:5 Jacob is claiming Joseph’s sons Ephraim and Manasseh. When we get to the long genealogies (I Chronicles 5:1-2) we’ll see how the birthright that belonged to Judah went to Ephraim and Manasseh.
Also of interest –
Genesis 48:18-19 Joseph is correcting his dad about who deserves the birthright – in an interesting echo of what Jacob did to his father in Gen. 27.
Genesis 49:10 – the scepter – is spoken of by Balaam (Numbers 24:17), the Psalmists (Psalm 60:7, 108:8). Shiloh is a difficult term – and even commentators admit it’s hard to be certain. But it seems to talk about the promised seed to Eve.
Revelation 21:7 – Not all are God’s children, only those who overcome? Who are the overcomers? Those who believe (Revelation 21:8).
Revelation 21:12-14 – Notice how God is uniting Israel (Revelation 21:12) and the Church (Revelation 21:14) for eternity in the eternal New Jerusalem!

Revelation 21:27 – God can’t let any sin into His heaven, and you must have an RSVP to enter. If you don’t know for sure that your name is in the Book of Life, make sure of that today! We saw yesterday what happens to those whose names are not found in the book (Revelation 20:15).
