A farmer’s son from Isabela got full scholarship from Duke University making him the first Filipino recipient of Karsh International Scholarship Program, the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) announced on Wednesday, May 26.
The PSHS extended its felicitations to Edrian Paul Liao, member of Class 2021 (Silaksarinlan) of the Philippine Science High School – Cagayan Valley Campus (PSHS-CVC) in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, for receiving admission offers from Duke University in the United States and Jacobs University in Germany.

Maria Charisma Estrella of Silang, Cavite, has been offered admission to New York University (NYU) for a dual degree program for BS Biology and BS Biomolecular Engineering with a scholarship grant; and Yale-NUS College in Singapore with inclined interest toward molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. NYU is one of the largest and most competitive private universities in the US, while Yale-NUS is a liberal arts college established by Yale University and the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Another student from the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) has received admission offers from leading universities abroad, this time in Europe and the United States.

Pisay graduate gets offers from universities in Germany, US
Published May 25, 2021 8:14pm A Philippine Science High School (PSHS) - Ilocos Region Campus graduate has received admission offers from two universities in the United States and one in Germany. Dominic R. Navarro, who is part of the school’s batch 2021, was offered a spot at Jacobs University in Germany with a scholarship grant for BS Mathematics. In the US, meanwhile, the University of Wisconsin-Madison offered him direct admission to the BBA Actuarial Science program of the Wisconsin School of Business. Bentley University also offered him a Provost Scholarship for BS Actuarial Science.

The PSHS has extended its felicitations to Maria Charisma Estrella for getting offers of admission from the New York University and Yale University- National University of Singapore (NUS) College.
Estrella is a member of the pioneer batch of students of the PSHS-Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) Region Campus.
“Congratulations, Maria Charisma P. Estrella, member of the pioneer batch of students of the PSHS-Calabarzon Region Campus, for receiving admission offers from the New York University and Yale University – NUS College!,” the PSHS said in a Facebook post.
