Roque said only online and TeleBet activities in the National Capital Region-plus (NCR-plus) bubbe area may operate.
Off-tracking betting stations, on the other hand, may resume operations during the general community quarantine (GCQ) or modified GCQ (MGCQ).
It took six months before the IATF allowed the resumption of Philippine horse racing in September last year. Horse racing was one of the establishments forced to close down during the lockdown due to the threat of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Efforts to provide better and more convenient access to public health services continue as Senator Christopher Bong Go virtually attended the launch of the country s 106th Malasakit Center at the Don Jose S. Monfort Medical Center Extension Hospital in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo on Tuesday, May 4.
In his speech as a special guest, Go admitted that the country s hospitals are overwhelmed by the number of patients seeking medical attention amid the COVID-19 pandemic and vowed to push for measures to boost the capacity of health facilities and improve access to public health services nationwide.

The Malasakit Center at the Carcar Provincial Hospital, a level one facility with 50 hospital beds, is the sixth in Cebu.
The other Malasakit Centers in Cebu can be found in Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (Cebu City), Eversley Child Sanitarium and General Hospital (Mandaue City), St. Anthony Mother and Child Hospital (Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital (Lapu-Lapu City) and Cebu South Medical Center (Talisay City).
Overall, there are 23 Malasakit Centers in Visayas, 56 in Luzon and 24 in Mindanao.
