Delight once again for the St. Colmcilles club
Just like in 2016 when St. Colmcilles won the Leinster Club Intermediate Football Championship title the Seasiders are kings of Leinster once again by finishing top of the Leinster GAA Every Step Counts challenge.
The challenge was divided across the four provinces and the goal was for each club to track a collective 4,000km over 7 weeks (that s roughly the distance around Ireland!) between 13th January - 3rd March to be entered into a prize draw. The event came to a close at 12 midnight last night.
Over the seven weeks the ‘Cilles’ club members collectively clocked an amazing 50, 545 miles (81,344km) and beat off stiff competition from Clontarf. The Dublin club finished second with 48,937 miles (78,756km).
