Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s west.
Brittney Burgess, aged 15, was last seen at her home on Killarney Avenue, Blacktown, about 11pm Thursday April 29, 2021.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command were notified of her disappearance after she failed to return the following day.
Brittney is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 120-130cm tall and of a thin build, with long dark hair which she often wears in a ponytail.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with stabbing another man with a nail punch, allegedly leaving the sharp tool lodged in his face.
The incident occurred at a home on Jindabyne Circuit in Woodcroft, in western Sydney, when two men arrived to buy an item advertised on social media before midday on Tuesday.
Police say a fight broke out after the 26-year-old male occupant spoke to the men at the door, ending with a brutal nail punch attack.

A teenager has been hospitalised after being stabbed multiple times in an absolutely horrifying attack.
The 17-year-old was assaulted in the western Sydney suburb of Blacktown in New South Wales on Thursday afternoon.
A CareFlight Helicopter and three ambulance crews found the boy had wounds to his torso and arm near Richmond Road in Blacktown at around 4.30pm.

Teenager stabbed, police appeal for public assistance at Blacktown
Police have appealed for public assistance as they continue to investigate the stabbing of a teenage boy in Sydney’s west yesterday.
About 4pm (Thursday 18 February 2021), police and other emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing at Blacktown Showground, located on Richmond Road, Blacktown.
Upon arrival, officers found a 17-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds to his torso and arms. He was treated at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to Westmead Childrens Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command immediately commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
