Support the restaurants that use compostable containers instead of Styrofoam or plastic containers and tip them generously. Styrofoam is difficult to recycle and unhealthy.
Do some research and find out which restaurant goes that step further to protect our island, wellbeing, and planet.

Banning Styrofoam, or polystyrene foam, is the natural next step. Styrofoam promises to do even more damage to our environment and our community than plastic bags ever could.
Styrofoam takes hundreds of years to break down and there is argument on whether it actually breaks down or just breaks into little pieces and remains in the environment. Styrofoam also releases chemicals into our environment, especially if it’s incinerated.
