From helping children diagnosed with cancer and their families to helping refugees navigate their way in their new country to collecting used musical instruments for schoolchildren who cannot afford to buy them to making beds for children who do not have them, these volunteers have spent countless hours pursuing causes to benefit others.

GLOVERSVILLE WellNow Urgent Care, one of the country’s fastest-growing urgent care providers, announced that they opened the doors to its newest center in Gloversville on Wednesday. Located at 332 S. Kingsboro Ave. Extension, the new facility offers COVID-19 testing, as well as timely treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with no appointment needed.

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates (SPHPMA) is pleased to announce that Upstate Infectious Diseases Associates has joined its medical group effective April 1, 2021.
Since its founding in 1996, Upstate Infectious Diseases Associates has been on the cutting edge of the diagnosis, treatment, management and care of infectious disease for residents of the Capital Region. Upstate Infectious Diseases Associates, supporting SPHPMA’s primary care providers, will provide consultations for matters relating to general infectious diseases, vector-borne illnesses, mycobacterial infections, HIV, post-operative and chronic wound infections, as well as travel-related illnesses.
