THOMASTON – Amanda McDonald got her first COVID-19 shot Wednesday during a vaccination clinic for 100 people at St. Peter’s Trinity Church on Main Street.
The vaccine was produced by Moderna. McDonald said she would not have gotten the shot if it had come from Johnson & Johnson because she didn’t trust that company, even before the Federal Drug Administration recommended this week that medical facilities pause using Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine until it further studies the potential link with blood clots.
