Share: SAINT PETERSBURG, Russia, Dec. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ St. Petersburg State University (SPbU) has improved its place in the Financial Times European Business School ranking 2020, published on December 7, 2020. The Graduate School of Management SPbU (GSOM SPbU), founded with the support of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin,  took a record 51st position in the overall European ranking, having risen by eight points compared to last year. 15 years ago, the priority national project Education  was initiated, and it set the task of creating a world-class Russian business school to train leaders capable of solving global economic problems and increasing the competitiveness of both individual sectors of the economy and the country as a whole. The paper was published in Scientific Reports. Translational model The zebrafish, also known as Danio rerio, is a freshwater fish from the minnow family. It got its name for the stripes on its body. Zebrafish are widely used as a translational model in genetics, molecular biology, embryology, pharmacology, and more recently in neurobiology. Their use as lab animals was pioneered in the 60s by U.S. biologist George Streisinger.
