A graveside service for 70-year-old Edwin A. Arbogast of Wayland will be held Saturday, April 10th at 10:30 a.m. at Schrock Cemetery in rural Washington. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be in place. The service will be available via Livestream on the Beatty Peterseim Facebook Page. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 – 7 p.m. at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland.  The family will not be present. Margaret Jeanette Miller

Margaret Jeanette Miller, 89, passed away Dec. 12, 2020, after a short illness. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at Upper Deer Creek Mennonite Church, Kalona.  Due to COVID, masks will be required.  Family will not be present.  A celebration of life service will be held at Upper Deer Creek Mennonite Church at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2020.  Masks will be required.  The service will be Livestreamed at the Beatty Peterseim Facebook Page. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Margaret was born in rural Wellman, Iowa, on Sept. 20, 1931, to Raymond G. Miller and Nettie C. Bender Miller.  She lived virtually her entire life in the Kalona area, working at Strickler’s grocery store during high school, then graduating from Iowa Mennonite School (now Hillcrest Academy) in 1949.  Margaret was a member of Upper Deer Creek Mennonite Church.

A private funeral service for 88-year-old Dr. Carl Reschly DVM of Wayland will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 1 p.m. at Wayland Mennonite Church. A live stream of the service will be on the Beatty-Peterseim Facebook page. The public is welcome to a procession to the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. from the church to the family graveside service at North Hill Cemetery, which will also be livestreamed. In lieu of flowers, a general memorial has been established. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Beatty-Peterseim Funeral Home. Previous Story
