The last year has brought the hammer down on all of us. So, when Piedmont High School students had a chance to bring some joy to the youngest kids in the district, they answered the bell. It s been a really depressing year for everyone. It brings a lot of joy to people, said Piedmont High School senior Jacob Cope. It s been a hard year, so we were hoping that this would create a great ending for them, and judging by the smiles I think they re satisfied, said Piedmont High School leadership teacher Alissa Antwine.
It s part of the Piedmont School District s annual DUCK Week, which stands for Doing Unselfish Charities for Kids.
