As part of the ACI’s Covid-19 ‘For a Safer Journey’ programme, a number of safety measures were assessed. This included cleaning and disinfection, social distancing, employee protection, physical layout, passenger communications and terminal facilities.
After the council reviewed all the relevant evidence, it was decided that the airport’s measures aligned with the industry best practise.
