Two Men Handed Suspended Prison Sentences for Assaulting Yemeni Students
The appeals court in Pécs, in southern Hungary, has handed suspended prison sentences to two men for the racially motivated assault on two Yemeni university students, the court said on Wednesday.
The two men were sentenced for pushing and kicking two Yemeni university students after hearing them speak Arabic outside a shopping mall in August 2018.

Hungary s Prime Minister Viktor Orban seeks to control universities
Hungary s universities are to receive a major structural overhaul: They will no longer be state owned, but will become foundations instead, according to a new law passed by Viktor Orban s Fidesz party. In the process, they will also be endowed billions of euros in assets from the state budget, as well as real estate and shares in large companies. A total of 11 universities and 70% of Hungary s students are affected.
