I would like to thank the local Conservatives for keeping me so busy and entertained through the year. I absolutely love the way that they opposed car parking charges in Southampton but are busy introducing them in my home town of Totton. It s terrific, the way that Conservatives at New Forest District have refused to support a motion to treat climate change as an emergency, despite Conservatives at Hampshire County Council doing so. Some Conservatives are supporting a reorganisation of local government that will mean the New Forest becoming part of a greater Southampton, with a mayor in charge. To top it all, after years and years of campaigning in elections telling us that they were the party that opposed the introduction of wheelie bins, that is what they are not set to do.
