As Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama said yesterday, Fiji would be in dire straits without the help of Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Bainimarama made the comment while welcoming the second batch of Australia and New Zealand Medical Assistance teams who arrived on Wednesday night. He said the help from Australia and New Zealand went far beyond the lifesaving vaccines they made available to Fiji.
“It has included equipment, technical advice, testing of thousands of swab samples and financial support to help us through the economic crisis,” he said.
