• The Howell Alliance and the Howell Police Department are participating in the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 24 at the Howell Police Department, 300 Old Tavern Road, Howell. Residents may bring their unwanted, unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs to the anonymous drop-off, no questions asked. Remove or black out names from prescription bottles. Blood drive set for April 14 at Brunswick Square Mall
The mission of New Jersey Blood Services is to provide an adequate blood supply to hospitals and their patients. They require 1,500 donations each day to treat patients ranging from trauma victims to newborn babies and their mothers to cancer patients.
All type of donors are needed.
The Brunswick Square Mall will host a blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 14 at the store next to Old Navy, near Macy’s, at the mall, 755 Route 18, East Brunswick.
Appointments are recommended. Walk-ins will be accommodated only if space allows.
